History

St. Francis of Assisi School of Silay City Foundation, Inc. (SFAS) is a private Catholic institution established in 1964 with a vision to provide quality Christian education particularly to the children of farm workers in the area and the neighboring communities who cannot afford the regular private schools. Located in a 5 hectare campus just outside Silay City, Negros Occidental (Philippines), the school provides kindergarten to high school education for 600 students.

Under the supervision of the La Salle Christian Brothers, SFAS has grown into a leading institution in the city of Silay.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
when there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
